Choosing the right skateboard size makes learning easier, improves balance, and helps build confidence faster. While there is no single "perfect" size, the recommendations below are a great starting point based on shoe size, age, and rider height.
6.5" – 7.0" Deck Width
Best for: Young beginners
- Typical Ages: 4–7
- Shoe Size: US Kids 6C – 1
- Height: Up to 4'0"
- Easier to push, turn, and control for smaller riders
- Ideal for first-time skaters developing balance and coordination
7.0" – 7.25" Deck Width
Best for: Growing youth skaters
- Typical Ages: 6–9
- Shoe Size: US Kids 10C – 3
- Height: 3'8" – 4'6"
- Lightweight and easy to maneuver
- Great for learning ollies, turning, and basic tricks
7.5" – 7.75" Deck Width
Best for: Youth and smaller teens
- Typical Ages: 8–13
- Shoe Size: US 1 – 9
- Height: 4'2" – 5'6"
- Offers a balance of stability and maneuverability
- A popular progression size for riders advancing their skills
8.0"+ Deck Width
Best for: Teens and adults

Not Sure Which Size to Choose?
If you're between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up rather than sizing down. A slightly wider board provides more stability and room for growth, especially for new skaters.
